California just secured a major victory in our nationwide fight for common sense gun laws.

Last week, a federal appeals court reinstated the ban on the sale and possession of large-capacity magazines found in assault weapons. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, the city council voted to ban ghost guns, or weapons built from untraceable components produced by 3D printers and other methods.

These measures may seem like common sense in the wake of yet another tragic mass shooting, but many states still allow both large-capacity magazines and ghost guns to be produced and circulated. Sign our petition to demand that Congress take action to ban assault weapons. [[link removed]]

This measure moves to ban the sale, transfer, manufacture and importation of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.

Assault weapons are weapons of war and do not belong in our communities, and it is past time that Congress takes action to make our communities safer by passing the Assault Weapons Ban.
