It is time for us to pair the once in a generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure that we passed last month with a once in a generation investment in our nation’s people.

I’m asking everyone in Virginia who supports the Build Back Better bill to share their support with us to help make that happen as we enter the final push towards passage so that every one of my colleagues on both sides of the aisle understands the support this bill has.

There isn’t a part of life in the United States that won’t be touched by this bill.

Build Back Better expands access to education at every level, including big investments in early childhood education and community college. It helps ease the burden on parents with young children by expanding access to childcare. It improves access to healthcare and lowers prescription drug prices. It continues our crucial investments in clean energy.

While we iron out the final details of this bill, it's important that I know who is with me in wanting to make this historic investment a reality.
