I’m writing to you today about the urgency and importance of your renewed
support as we head into 2022 – one of the most critical years ever for the
very survival of our American democracy. Here’s what we are facing:

* Our voting rights are under attack.

* With razor-thin majorities, control of both houses of Congress is at
stake in the 2022 midterms.

* There’s an extremely high likelihood of a Supreme Court vacancy next
year, and

* The Far Right has seized control of the Republican Party – turning to
increasingly violent rhetoric to tear down the foundations of our
democracy.

We've
asked you a few times to renew your People For membership early, and we're
growing concerned because, as of right now we are behind the pace we need
to stay on track with our goal.
