John, we should be deeply concerned about the future of women's access to reproductive healthcare. I am outraged. This is personal. My family was shaped by Roe v. Wade.

Last week, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on a Mississippi law that directly challenges Roe v. Wade. This conservative court may overturn Roe in the months ahead.

There are actions Congress can take — namely, passing the Women's Healthcare Protection Act (which federally affirms the right to choose). But my opponent John Katko voted against this urgently-needed bill back in September.

We need leaders at the federal level who will fight for the right to choose, especially now that the very foundation of Roe v. Wade is under attack. I will use my voice and bring this fight to Washington.

Ensuring equity in reproductive healthcare is very personal to me. I've endured four traumatic miscarriages, and I've seen up close how our healthcare system ignores postpartum challenges and rarely covers services for women whose pregnancies do not end in a live birth. At a time when we should be working to make reproductive care more accessible and less costly, it is insulting and infuriating to see politicians standing in the way and trying to roll back access even further by passing anti-choice legislation.

Katko is not the leader we deserve on this issue, and it's one of the reasons I'm running for Congress. We need more people at the decision-making table who've experienced the challenges of America's reproductive care system, and who understand the very human stakes involved.

2022 will be a defining year for the future of reproductive healthcare, and we need pro-choice women in office. If you can, please donate a few dollars to help our grassroots campaign defeat John Katko and give the people of NY-24 the representation they deserve.
