RESPONSE NEEDED FROM John
Do you believe Roe v. Wade should be the law of the land?

John —
The U.S. Supreme Court recently heard arguments over Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, setting up what might be the most consequential ruling on reproductive rights in a generation.
As it stands, the conservative-majority Court appears ready to overturn Roe v. Wade — despite the fact that Roe is the Court’s own precedent.
If (and when) Roe is overturned, 21 states have laws that would immediately ban abortion in all or most cases. Radical right-wingers are closer than ever to achieving their decades-long goal of defeating the constitutional right to abortion.
Here in North Carolina, if Republicans gain supermajorities in Raleigh, they could institute an abortion ban for our state as well. With that in mind, we want to hear from you right now: Do you believe Roe v. Wade should remain the law of the land?
