John,
In just THREE days, we have the chance to kick Republicans out of the Philadelphia City Council, and replace them with the Working Families Party.
Working Families Party candidates Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke have inspired a grassroots movement that has taken the city of Philadelphia by storm. The Philadelphia Inquirer says Kendra and Nicolas “are mounting the strongest third-party campaign in memory, threatening to capture seats guaranteed to independents or minority-party candidates… that have been held by Republicans for 70 years.”1
John, opportunities to fundamentally transform the political landscape by electing movement candidates like this don’t come along very often. That’s why WFP is going all-out to reach as many voters as possible — on the ground, on the doors, and on the phones — this weekend and through Tuesday. Can you help power our final push to kick Republicans out of the Philadelphia City Council and put Working Families in?

Nicolas and Kendra have earned support from an unprecedented progressive coalition in this race, including elected officials, labor unions, environmental groups, and community organizations who share their vision of a Philadelphia for the many, not the fortunate few.
We couldn’t be prouder to fight alongside them to protect residents from displacement, fully fund our public schools, and end mass incarceration.
But they are taking on an entrenched establishment machine that is not going to give up without a fight — and it’s going to take all hands on deck these last few days in order to get them across the finish line.
Chip in here to help power our final push to get out the vote, or sign up here to text voters from home.
Thanks for all that you do,
Vanessa Clifford
