TONIGHT, December 8, is the deadline to submit your comment to the Department of Natural Resources!
If you have already submitted a comment - thank you, and please share this with your friends and family! And, if you haven't submitted your comment yet - do so right now! It will only take 30 seconds. The Boundary Waters needs the voices of people like you who love this Wilderness. These public comments help government officials understand not just the scientific, economic and cultural reasons for protecting the Wilderness, but also give them an important measure of how the public feels about the issue. I don’t need to tell you that the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is one of the most spectacular places on earth. It is an ecological marvel, an economic engine for northeastern Minnesota, a world-class outdoor recreation destination and a unique learning ground for the tens of thousands of kids who over the years have made Boundary Waters trips a cornerstone in their character-building education. Thousands upon thousands of visitors go each year, and generations of families have built memories and connections that last lifetimes. Now the Boundary Waters needs the voices of all those who throughout the years have made pilgrimage to this special place. Sign and share now.
