With big yawns, little Bello is only beginning to take in life around him. In the picture below, he was just 7 days old.
IRC midwives helped support his mom, Hussaini, to have a safe birth at a clinic in remote northeast Nigeria.
Her dreams for Bello's future? "I hope he becomes a good person who helps his community."
