Celebrating our 100th parkun!
cake
In October the Clifton Parkrun celebrated its 100th event with a fancy dress run and raised over £90 on the day to help raise funds to purchase defibrillators.
Clifton Parkrun meets every week at the pylon on Clifton Playing Fields at 9am.
Everyone is welcome, even if you’ve never run before or if you’d rather walk! More information about the parkrun can be found at [link removed] [ [link removed] ] or on Facebook.

Looking after yourself this Christmas
christmas
Nottingham City Council’s Trading Standards team are asking Nottingham residents to be careful when buying presents for children:
* *Look for the CE or UKCA mark:* These symbols on the label or box mean the manufacturer has assessed the toy for safety
* *Button-batteries can kill:* Check they are screwed in firmly and safely before giving to a child
* *Check age restrictions:* Toys must be clearly marked with age restrictions - always follow them, they’re there for a reason
