Even Biden’s Supreme Court Commission Pours Cold Water on Left’s Court-Packing Scheme – President Joe Biden created the Supreme Court Commission in response to the left’s aggressive demands to pack the Supreme Court, but failed to identify any problem that needed solving or ask for any recommendations on potential ‘reforms.’ True to its mandate, the commission did not make a single contribution to that debate—because the court does not require the fundamental changes being sought by the far left. Ultimately, by taking no position on anything, the commission poured more cold water on radical schemes like court-packing. Packing the Supreme Court would destroy the independence of the judiciary and place the courts under the control of the election branches. New York Moves to Allow 800,000 Noncitizens to Vote in Local Elections – The New York City Council resolution to allow permanent alien residents and aliens holding work authorizations to vote in local election is clearly illegal and violates the New York Constitution requiring citizenship to vote in all local and state elections. This is an attempt to normalize what should not be normalized: the idea that aliens should be allowed to vote in all U.S. elections. Allowing aliens to vote diminishes the value of citizenship and reduces the incentive for immigrants to become citizens and make a commitment to this country. Given the fact that New York voters just defeated liberal attempts to implement other unwise election rules through referenda, including same day voter registration and no-fault absentee ballots, allowing aliens to vote would clearly go against the will of the public. 14 arrested for LA smash-and-grab robberies all released on zero-bail policies – The policies of rogue prosecutors around the country have led to lawlessness in their cities. Criminals—even violent criminals—when arrested are often almost immediately released back into their communities. News reports indicate that 14 individuals arrested in the recent string of smash-and-grab robberies in LA have been released in accordance with the zero-bail policies being pushed by LA County’s rogue prosecutor, George Gascon. Frustration with Gascon and his rogue radical policies have led to LA County citizens again seeking to institute a recall against him. San Francisco citizens have already instituted one against their rogue DA, Chesa Boudin. Their radical policies often have tragic real-world consequences. Look no further than the tragic events in Waukesha, WI.  John Chisholm, the rogue DA in Milwaukee, could have detained the man who ultimately ran his car through a crowded Christmas parade.  Detaining him likely would have prevented that tragedy.  Not only are thefts and robberies on the rise, so are violent crimes. This past year, our nation saw a 30% increase in the number of homicides. Homicides are surging in places like Philadelphia, which has already broken its all-time record for murders in a single year.  Rogue DA Larry Krasner’s policies clearly aren’t working. Are Biden’s policies inviting the next Pearl Harbor? – In 1941, Japan attacked America out of weakness. When the U.S. cut off oil exports, Tokyo reasoned that its only option for obtaining secure energy supplies was seizing the fields and refineries in Southeast Asia. That could not be achieved without securing their flanks by taking out the British in Singapore and the Americans in the Philippines and they could not risk that without taking out the U.S. naval fleet at Pearl. And, so, they risked all, and the rolled the dice of war.  China, Russia, North Korea and Iran don't feel backed into a corner under Biden and likely never will while he is in the White House.  They have no need to risk it all when everything is going their way. They’re perfectly content to nibble away at the democracies next door, confident that the leader of the free world will do nothing to stop them as he focuses his attention on transforming America into a woker, weakened nation. Heritage Expert: James Carafano

 

Is America’s Military Ready to Face Rising Dictatorships? – While the commander in chief declares climate change to be the greatest threat to American security and forces the military to tighten its belt and distract itself with witch hunts for "extremists" in the ranks, the People's Liberation Army Daily says China must go to war with America. Taiwan is now in the crosshairs, and with it, the sea and air lanes that control access to Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and India. If we do not awaken, we face an unimaginable cataclysm more destructive than any conflict we have ever seen. Our very way of life and thousands of years of Western progress and tolerance is on the line. The common Americans who did not crack are still out there. We need them to rescue us again.
