I’ve always wanted these, but after becoming a working mom, I’m an even bigger advocate for them.

 

Friend, this is why I am so proud to be a part of the PowerPAC team. I get to work at an organization that also believes that we deserve all of the above and so much more. I get to wake up and work on empowering voters of color and supporting progressive leaders so we can win the political issues that matter most to us, our family, and our community. 

 

So this holiday season, while you’re enjoying the company of your family and friends, think about the issues that touch their lives and decide how you can help make their life better. Whether it’s donating a few dollars to your favorite social justice organizations, volunteering on a progressive candidate’s campaign, or just becoming a bigger activist for civil rights in general, small acts like those can truly make a difference.
