Blue Dogs Commend Passage of National Defense Authorization Act; Urge Swift Senate Passage
WASHINGTON—Today, the House passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) — bipartisan legislation that includes Blue Dog endorsed measures to counter China.

“As a caucus committed to the national security of the United States, the Blue Dogs commend the bipartisan passage of the National Defense Authorization Act and urge the Senate to immediately send this critical bill to the President’s desk as soon as possible,” said Rep. Mike Sherrill (NJ-11), Chair of the Blue Dog Coalition’s Task Force on National Security. “This bill makes much-needed investments in every element of our national security, from cybersecurity to key modernization efforts to innovative armaments, and will ensure our troops have the support they need to keep our nation safe."
