John —

Recently, House GOP Rep. Chip Roy went on Fox News and said this : “ Don’t fund a governmen t that is tyrannically forcing people to get a vaccine.”

Usually, the GOP isn’t so upfront about prioritizing their cheap, culture war politics over actual governance, but Chip doesn’t seem to mind telling the American people exactly that.

We cannot allow people like Chip to grab hold of our majority in Congress.

I cannot believe I have to restate this, but we need leadership that is invested in upholding the very institutions they have been entrusted with operating and guiding. Can you help us elect more Democrats who are invested in our democracy so that we can hold our House majority in 2022? [[link removed]]

The GOP is comfortable embracing people like Chip, who would choose shutting down our government — which employs hundreds of thousands of hardworking Americans and provides important benefits to millions more — to protest the fact that people are getting a scientifically-proven vaccine.

This is a level of absurdity we cannot tolerate in our government. Help us elect Democrats in 2022 to keep hold of our House majority so that we can continue enacting progress for hardworking Americans across the country. [[link removed]]
