Friend,
I want to shed light on an important issue facing Montana workers.
Right now, Governor Greg Gianforte is proposing a rule that would result in one journeyman -- a fully trained union worker -- being responsible for the training and safety of up to five apprentices.
Put simply, labor unions are at risk of being weakened under this policy.
While it may seem innocuous, this rule could create dangerous and unsustainable working conditions for union workers. Not to mention it opens doors for companies to exploit workers by hiring less-trained apprentices to do the work of more experienced journeymen.
A public hearing is scheduled tomorrow about this new rule, and we need you to help amplify the voices of union workers and their families against it.
Montana apprentices and journey workers need your help to protect their wages and the quality of their training. Please sign our petition OPPOSING Gianforte’s rule change.

This is an issue close to my heart. My own father was badly injured and eventually passed away because of unsafe labor conditions at the lumber mill he worked at.
That was decades ago, and we can’t risk allowing what happened to my family to continue happening to others.
Thanks for making your voice heard. Sign on the petition today >> [link removed]
Thanks friend,
