As a retired three-star Admiral with decades of service in the U.S. Navy, I know what a weapon of war is capable of.

It’s infuriating that we still have elected officials like my Republican opponent Chuck Grassley who block gun legislation without seemingly any care for how many people will die as a result.

The bottom line is the NRA’s campaign donations stand in the way. And it is blood money, pure and simple.

I’ll never take money from the NRA. They should just assign me an “F” right now. I will wear it proudly because I am running a campaign funded by grassroots donations – not corporate PACs or special interests. But if I’m going to be successful in defeating Chuck Grassley next November, I need your help today.
