This is a really bad wake-up call, friend –

My must-win Senate race has officially been downgraded from "Leans Democrat" to "TOSS-UP." 

With Senate control hinging on Nevada, this downgrade is the most alarming development in our fight to defend the Senate so far. Can you rush $5 to split between my and Gary Peters' campaigns before my critical fundraising deadline tonight?

CNN is calling me one of the most vulnerable senators in the entire country – and the GOP is already outspending me to flip this seat and the Senate red. They've poured more than $3 million into attack ads to defeat me, and if this downgrade is any indication, their efforts are working. 

Mitch McConnell only needs one seat to flip the Senate, and a new poll already shows me trailing my Trump-endorsed opponent by 2 points. I'm being massively outspent and I’m in danger of losing. I cannot afford to miss my midnight fundraising goal if we want to win in Nevada and defend the Senate, friend.

But as of 5:30 p.m., I'm falling $5,204 short of my critical goal. Missing goals at this point in the race could force us to make difficult decisions and cut back critical investments, which just can't happen when our race could determine the Senate majority. I don't have anywhere else to turn, so I'm coming to you personally with this urgent request:
