December is off to an interesting start for Mark Meadows, Donald Trump's former Chief of Staff. He revealed in his new book that Trump tested positive for COVID-19 well before he publicly disclosed it, and after his diagnosis, he still walked onto a debate stage with then-candidate Biden.

Meadows has also publicly urged the GOP to elect Trump as the Speaker of the House if Republicans win the majority next year.

Remember, the speaker of the House doesn’t need to be an elected representative, just elected by the body. The many Trump loyalists in the House will push hard to make him speaker over Kevin McCarthy.
