Dr. Oz is following Donald Trump’s footsteps to gain political recognition amongst right-wing extremists, and we can’t afford to look away.

Not only did this big-name star once suggest that reopening schools would be worth the extra deaths, because it “may only cost us 2% to 3% in terms of total mortality,” but he’s also promoted the dangerous antimalarial drug Hydroxychloroquine to fight the coronavirus.

And here’s the worst part: Dr. Oz has enough name recognition and Trump donors to take him to the halls of Congress in 2022.
