Freedom House, together with the renowned Venezuelan investigative journalist Ibeyise Pacheco, extend their invitation to “Venezuela Gray Zone,” an event sponsored by the International NGO IDEA – Iniciativa Democrática de España y las Américas.
Asdrúbal Aguiar, former Venezuelan Minister of Interior Relations and the current Secretary General of IDEA, will moderate a panel in which Andrés Pastrana, former President of Colombia, and Hugo Antonio Acha, researcher at the Center for a Free and Secure Society, will participate as panelists. The event is centered around the special report developed by Pachecho, "Venezuela gray zone," which explains how the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela favors the geopolitical interests of the ruling elite of the Maduro regime, criminal organizations operating within Venezuelan territory, and international allies such as Russia, China and Iran.
