We’ll get right to the point, we need you, John, to submit your comment to the Department of Natural Resources before the deadline - tomorrow, December 8 - act now. Since starting to organize the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters in 2012, our movement has united millions of people around a clear, historic and necessary goal: permanently protect the Boundary Waters from sulfide-ore copper mining.
We now have a chance to make it happen, so don’t sit this one out. Submit a comment to the Department of Natural Resources by the deadline tomorrow, Wednesday, December 8, asking that this dangerous type of mining be banned in the watershed of the Boundary Waters.
Wednesday (tomorrow!) is the last day of a critical 30-day public comment period to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources as they review and consider updating Minnesota’s outdated mining rules that fail to protect the Boundary Waters.
