[1]John Fetterman

John,

Dr. Oz may have pockets so deep he can self-fund his campaign’s $1.2
million ad buy… but that isn’t stopping him from trying to scam cash out
of Pennsylvanians.

According to the Pittsburgh City Paper, Dr. Oz is asking for donations
online with a pre-checked box in the fine print, which can mislead people
into giving an automatically recurring donation… again and again and
again.

This is an online fundraising tactic pioneered by — you guessed it —
Donald Trump and the Republican party, who swindled some unsuspecting
donors out of thousands of dollars. 🤢

Let’s be very clear: What Dr. Oz is doing is completely, 100% unethical.
People deserve respect from the candidates running to serve them. That’s
why from Day One, we’ve built our incredible grassroots movement by
leveling with you about the stakes of this race. No fear-mongering, no
"gotcha" fine print… just the truth about why John Fetterman is running
for Senate and why supporting our campaign is so damn important.

If you agree, will you chip in $5 or any amount you can
today to help John beat him? We’re grateful for your support, and we’ll
always put in the honest work to earn it.

Why are we just… not surprised,
John? After all, Dr. Oz is the celeb doctor
known for hawking dangerous diet products and bogus remedies on primetime
TV — putting millions of viewers at risk just to make a buck.

And instead of dialing it down when Covid-19 took hold, Oz saw another
chance to profit, preaching unproven remedies to the American public in
the early days of the pandemic.

So really, Dr. Oz tricking his campaign donors into giving tens, hundreds,
or thousands of more dollars than they meant to — even though he’s already
self-funding his campaign with his own wealth — is just another scam on a
loooong, ugly track record.

John, we need
your help to fight back against Dr. Oz’ virtually unlimited campaign war
chest and make sure he has no chance of becoming Pennsylvania’s next U.S.
Senator. [ [link removed] ]So we’re asking — with no weird strings attached — if you’ll
pitch in $5 or more now to show that scam tactics can never
match up to a real grassroots movement.

Thank you for your support,

Team Fetterman
