Good news, John! In a number of states, Latino voters are gaining power through redistricting!

The Hill: "Latino activists flex redistricting muscle after a decade of growth"

Public News Service: "Latinos Win Seat at Voter Redistricting Table"

But it's not all rosy. In states like Texas, Republicans have ignored the fact that population growth has largely been driven by Latinos and instead created new majority-white districts at the expense of Latino political power!

Now we have a choice: Allow states like Texas to get away with it, or FIGHT BACK and ensure that all communities have a voice. Will you chip in to help us fight?

John, voters are refusing to let Republican politicians deny them representation. In states like Ohio and North Carolina, they’re suing to get fair maps -- and in Texas, voters are filing a lawsuit that explicitly calls out the state for diluting the voting power of communities of color.

And the NDRC is fighting every day for fair maps that give every voter an equal voice; we're doing it by ✔ putting staff on the ground, ✔ analyzing maps, ✔ mobilizing voters, and ✔ supporting voters in lawsuits where necessary. But whether we have enough resources to do it all depends on YOU.

We know we ask a lot, but this is an incredibly critical time for fair elections. Can you dig deep and pitch in, even if it's just $5? [[link removed]

Thank you,
