Starting Saturday (December 11th) — just a few days from now — Washington state law requires a mandatory “freeze” on all fundraising for state elected officials — including Bob. This freeze begins one month before the state legislative session begins and lasts as long as the legislature is in session. In other words, Bob cannot accept any campaign contributions from December 11th until next Spring. We turn off our donation page after midnight on December 10th, 2021 and return any donations that come in the mail — no exceptions!

Will you support Bob’s campaign by making a contribution right now?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately by clicking a button below. Otherwise, you will be redirected to a donation page.

This year, my team succeeded in protecting Washingtonians from harm by defending our values and standing up to powerful interests that don’t play by the rules.

Here are just a few recent highlights:
  • We took action to address the devastating opioid crisis by taking the three biggest opioid distributors to trial to hold them accountable for their role in fueling the epidemic. This case is one of the most important trials in our state’s history and its outcome will signal whether three massive Fortune 15 companies will be held accountable for fueling the opioid epidemic that devastated families in Washington and across the country.
  • We also continue to fight the Sackler family’s (owners of Purdue Pharma) attempts to abuse the bankruptcy laws to acquire a lifetime legal shield and avoid meaningful accountability.
  • We protected workers’ rights and basic human dignity by holding corporations like for-profit prison operator The GEO Group (GEO) for violating Washington’s Minimum Wage Act by paying detainees $1 a day to run a significant portion of the Detention Center. This resulted in a $23 million judgement, including over $17 million in back-pay to workers.
  • We won the landmark civil rights “Arlene’s Flowers” case at the United States Supreme Court, which establishes equality under the law for all LGBTQ+ Washingtonians and sends a powerful message to the entire country that discrimination isn’t just wrong, it’s illegal.
  • We defended Washington’s ban on the dangerous practice of conversion therapy on minors — it’s the first of its kind and should be the blueprint for a national ban on this harmful practice.
  • We won an important case against Greyhound, the national bus line, over their failure to warn passengers that it was allowing warrantless and suspicionless immigration enforcement actions on its buses. More than $2 million will go to Washingtonians harmed by Greyhound’s conduct.
  • We defended the Affordable Care Act at the United States Supreme Court. This legal victory protects access to affordable health care for 825,000 Washingtonians, including those with preexisting conditions, and prevents prescription drug price increases for Washingtonians on Medicare.
  • We shut down LuLaRoe’s illegal pyramid scheme, which preyed on individuals with false promises of empowerment. We won more than $4 million for Washingtonians who were harmed by LuLaRoe’s scheme.

This is just a few of the big fights my team and I take on to protect Washingtonians and defend our values. It’s important work — and I’m proud to serve as your Attorney General.

Will you make a contribution today so we can keep up this work?

We still need to raise $17,910 before our fundraising “freeze” goes into effect on Friday and this is our last chance to meet our fundraising goal.

Thank you for your support,

Bob
