There’s no organization making an impact on our democracy like New Politics — they’re unique, and I’ll tell you why.

Hi, I'm Dan.

I’m the son of an immigrant and the grandson of refugees and Holocaust survivors. I grew up wanting to serve the country that not only welcomed my family, but that provided us with so much opportunity.

That desire to serve took me to West Point and around the globe on tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea. Years later, with the help of New Politics, I launched a campaign to set my community in Virginia on a better course. Last month, I was reelected to my second term in Virginia’s House of Delegates as representative for the 40th district.

Without New Politics, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to continue my service in elected office. Please join me in supporting their work by making a contribution of $20 to the New Politics end of year giving campaign today.

New Politics has a strategic advantage dealing in trust. Their advisors connect personally with candidates like me, and I know that what I hear from my New Politics advisor is straight talk. Unlike paid consultants or political party operatives, I can always be sure their coaching is unbiased by business considerations or partisan calculation.

I didn’t expect an easy time breaking into politics, but the challenges I faced defied my expectations. Our system favors vested powers, like incumbent politicians, and as we all know well, it’s often the loudest voices that get the most attention.

But with help from New Politics, our campaign proved that voters are eager for new leadership — servant leadership.

After the events of January 6, I truly believe there’s never been a time when we’ve more urgently needed to elect more leaders who are committed to putting country over party and serving the public interest. We must come together to rise above those who debate in bad faith and govern in self-interest.

New Politics is counting on your support to recruit, support, and elect more servant leaders. Make a contribution today to help revitalize our democracy.
