Team,

Last week, for the fourth time in six years, we appeared before the
U.S. Supreme Court defending the right to abortion.

This time, we were arguing our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health
Organization, which challenges a Mississippi law banning abortion
after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The case is the most consequential
abortion rights case to go before the Court in generations, posing a
direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.

We shouldn't have to defend an established right again and again. We
need a real, long-term solution to protect access to abortion in the
U.S.-the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) is that solution.

The U.S. House of Representatives took a historic vote to pass WHPA
earlier this year, but we still need the Senate to do the same. We're
working closely with our allies in the halls of Congress to secure
federal protections for abortion access, but we need you with us no
matter how long it takes.

In moments like these, we rely on the regular monthly support
we receive from our

Access to abortion has been under threat this year in unprecedented
ways, pushing care further and further out of reach-especially
for people who already face discriminatory obstacles to accessing
health care.

In fact, 2021 has been the most devastating year for abortion access
in the U.S. in decades. Anti-abortion lawmakers in states across the
country have introduced 420 restrictive bills-including 146
bans-and enacted more than 60 laws restricting access.

Nearly 90% of counties in the U.S. have no abortion provider, and five
states are down to their last abortion clinic. If Roe were to be
overturned, nearly half the states in the U.S. would likely take
action to prohibit abortion entirely. Already, 12 states have
so-called "trigger bans" in place that are intended to ban abortion
immediately if Roe falls.

Securing legislative protections takes time, so we're relying on
the unwavering support of our
