This week at CBPP, we focused on health, federal tax, food assistance, and the economy.
* On health, Judith Solomon testified ([link removed]) to the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Health Care on Medicaid program integrity. Inna Rubin outlined ([link removed]) five good reasons to visit HealthCare.gov during open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act marketplaces. Jesse Cross-Call noted ([link removed]) that the children’s uninsured rate rose for the second straight year in 2018. We created ([link removed]) a checklist for consumers working with individual and web-based brokers to enroll in health coverage. Tara Straw urged ([link removed]) consumers to use caution when shopping for health insurance outside of
HealthCare.gov.
