John,
The Trust for Public Land has achieved some amazing results over the past year, thanks to the generosity of people like you. That’s why I hope we can count on you to make a generous membership contribution today.
- Thanks to you, we expanded the Sabinoso Wilderness, a rugged landscape of mesas and canyons in New Mexico. Our donation of the 9,855-acre Cañon Ciruela property was the single largest gift of land in American history for the expansion of a federal wilderness area.
- From Philadelphia to Oakland, California, we made tremendous progress with our Community Schoolyards™ projects — transforming underused outdoor schoolyards into vibrant public parks.
- Your support helped protect 215 acres of pristine woodland in Kingfield, Maine. Now there are more recreational opportunities, critical brook trout habitat is protected, and the community will own and manage this land collectively for generations.
- And through your support, The Trust for Public Land built parks in neighborhoods where too few residents reap the benefits of green space — like Dominick Andujar Park in Camden, New Jersey.
John, to keep this progress going, we need your support as we move into a new year. And today, you can double your impact while your gift is matched dollar for dollar up to $250,000!
Each of the successes listed above are a part of our aggressive five-year plan to save one million acres of land, preserve 1,000 miles of scenic rivers, and build or connect 1,000 miles of trails before 2025. This is a part of our ultimate goal of putting a great park within reach of every person in America.
But to maintain our momentum, and to reach these lofty goals, we must count upon your support as this year comes to a close. The Trust for Public Land depends upon the dedicated support of our advocates across the nation — including you — to provide a significant portion of our operating budget.
With your continued backing, The Trust for Public Land will be just as productive in 2022 as we have in 2021, so please make a tax-deductible contribution today and have your gift doubled!
Sincerely,
Kim Elliot
Director of Membership
