We only have a few days to act on an arms sale that could mean catastrophe for the people of Yemen. The U.S. is planning on selling MORE missiles to Saudi Arabia while over the last three weeks, Yemenis in Sana'a have been under almost constant aerial bombardment from the Saudi Air Force. There's a resolution in Congress now that can block this sale.

Tell Senate Democrats to block the $650 million arms sale to Saudi Arabia! 

Rand Paul introduced what is called a joint resolution of disapproval. Congress only has a few more days to stop this sale from going through. Every time I write to you about Yemen, the situation on the ground is getting worse. Every 75 seconds a child is dying from starvation in Yemen because of the war and blockade. That worst case estimate would mean by the time you are getting this, almost 400,000 children have died in 2021 alone. That is unacceptable. 

If Senate Democrats are serious about ending the war on Yemen, they should vote to stop arming the very country that is bombing and starving the Yemeni people.
