You know what gets us fired up? When out of touch, conservative SCOTUS Justices (nominated by presidents who lost the popular vote twice) talk about women's bodies and what women can and can't do with them. It's a disgrace.
Because reproductive freedom isn't a political tool to be used to control and manipulate. It's settled law and a Constitutional right. It's also personal.
That's why Christy spoke out in a powerful and emotional new video where she highlights a terrifying experience with pregnancy and "how it connects to the greater fight for reproductive rights and freedom, which includes abortion."
She also spent some time last week speaking with Jezebel in a recently published article, pledging her commitment to keep abortion rights at the front and center of her campaign.
Christy is absolutely right.
Attacks on women's freedoms in any state are attacks on our freedom everywhere. That's why we will never give up. We will continue to fight so long as we have a voice to use and a platform to stand on.
And I know Christy can count on you to join her. Because, while we have many hurdles to overcome and a long road ahead in the movement for reproductive justice, there is nothing we can't accomplish when we come together in solidarity to fight for it.
