John: Will you sign now to show you support free pre-K for all families?

The GOP has forcefully indicated they are against the free pre-K provision of the Build Back Better spending package we recently passed in Congress. They are telling caretakers and their young children that their needs simply do not matter.

To me, their “resistance” is absolutely outrageous.

These families survived a pandemic while doing the utmost to protect their children and educate them. It’s truly appalling that Republicans are comfortable with insulting these families by brushing off their need for free, quality pre-K education.

I think free, universal pre-K is a critically important part of the bill, and I would hate to see the GOP play ridiculous games with federal pre-K funding at the state level. Will you sign our petition to show your support for free, universal pre-K?
