Dear Friend of EMET,

You, our wonderful friends and supporters, brought us a Chanukah miracle this Giving Tuesday. It is a miracle that will enable us to increase our footprint on Capitol Hill and bring to our policymakers the message of a strong, secure Israel as being in the best national security interests of the United States.
Because you know how hard we work and how much we are able to accomplish, this Giving Tuesday was our most successful one yet — so we decided to extend it through Chanukah.

Even though the last of the eight candles has flickered out, we still have just a few hours to be a part of this matching campaign. EMET, like the state of Israel, is relatively small, but we have the determination and the strength of the Maccabees to be victorious in the battle of ideas and to help Israel get the tools it needs to defend itself, by itself.

This is particularly important now, as Israel is confronted with the threat of an Iranian nuclear bomb and with 130 to 150,000 Hezbollah missiles to Israel’s north. We need to reach every single policymaker to have them understand that this is not just about Israel, but about the region and the world and that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no great love for us here in America, which they refer to as “The Great Satan.”
