Happy December, John!

The holidays are always an exciting and festive time, but also present lots of challenges for working-class families and grassroots campaigns, alike. I’m sorry to say that I’ve heard from a lot of our supporters who are more financially stretched than usual this season.

As inflation causes prices in grocery stores and at the gas pumps to rise, while wages stay stagnant and woefully insufficient, more and more people are feeling a financial squeeze, and even the strongest campaigns have had to scale back on their ambitious goals.

When so many of our campaign’s working-class supporters are struggling to make ends meet and are saving up for holiday gifts for family, travel, and other needs, it can be really difficult to set aside some funds for political contributions.

That’s why I am asking if you are in a position to give, to please step up and donate to our people-first campaign during this challenging time.

Come January 3rd, we need to start collecting signatures to qualify for the ballot, so we need all hands on deck at that time. We have to be ready for that in less than a month, so we need all the help we can get between now and then.

No matter what, I will NEVER accept corporate or Super PAC money. This campaign is about representing the people, not corporate interests. If you can, please consider donating something significant so we can go into 2022 as strongly as possible!
