When asking how can Congress be so out of touch with the needs of the
American people, we don’t have to look any further than two Congressional
districts controlled by two Corporate Democrats… New York’s 12th
represented by Carolyn Maloney and Maryland’s 5th represented by Steny
Hoyer.

Carolyn Maloney is one of the richest members of Congress and profits
massively from investments in rental properties that are notorious for
evicting tenants.

Maloney’s district has one of the highest rates of inequality in the
country, all while she takes corporate PAC donations from Goldman Sachs,
JP Morgan, and Citigroup, just to name a few.

Maloney isn’t alone in her support of big banks over people.

Steny Hoyer has pushed for cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
and worked with Republicans on tax cuts for the rich and bailouts for
banks.

We cannot afford to settle for Democrats that represent the interests of
big banks and real estate funds.
