California is close to finalizing new congressional maps, which means Ro’s district will change before our next election. 

It’s important to understand what this means for Ro. When the boundaries of California’s 17th District shift, hundreds or even thousands of new eligible voters will join the district — and it will be our job to introduce them to Ro, share our vision, and make sure they’re registered in the few months before the 2022 primary. Meanwhile, we may be losing key supporters who shift into a new district. 

Ro’s changing district also opens the door to new opponents. There’s still time for serious contenders to challenge Ro in 2022, and depending who they are, they could be backed by heavyweight donors from Big Oil, Big Pharma, and other powerful industries who are eager to silence Ro’s fearless progressivism. 

Preparing Ro for these new challenges and threats just can’t be done without resources. Now we need to build organizing programs in communities who’ve never heard of Ro Khanna, and reach new voters with TV and radio ads in one of the most expensive media markets in the United States. 

So we’re turning to supporters like you to see if you can donate $20.22 or more to help re-elect Ro in a shifting electoral landscape that corporate PACs will see as an opportunity to take us down.
