Team,
We’re happy to announce that Stacey was named as part of this year’s Higher Heights for America Shirley Chisholm 2021 Sisters to Watch List, celebrating 21 Black women whose leadership will help shape and advance America’s political agenda.
As one of nine impeachment managers tasked with presenting the House’s case to the Senate, Team Plaskett is proud to see recognition of Stacey’s historical appointment as the first delegate to ever serve as an impeachment manager during Donald Trump’s impeachment hearing. She was the only Black woman present in the Senate Chamber during the trial.
It’s critical we continue to hear Stacey’s voice in Congress as we head into 2022 and tackle next year’s challenges. Will you chip in $15 or more today to keep Black voices like Stacey’s in the House of Representatives?

Shirley Chisholm was a true trailblazer who, 52 years ago, became the first Black woman elected to U.S. Congress. The 1960s and early 1970s were a tumultuous time in American history – but Representative Chisholm fought and worked hard to enact policies that created opportunities for all Americans.
Stacey’s leadership is exceptional and an example for Black women everywhere. We’re proud to see her work recognized as she stands on the shoulders of Shirley Chisholm in Congress.
Contribute now to continue the legacy of Black women trailblazing everywhere!
