December 10, 4 p.m. ET

Please join us in celebrating RiseOut Activist-in-Residence fellows Joshua Allen and Dominic Bradley, as they present the work that they conducted during this inaugural year of the program. We’ll gather virtually to learn about the tools, events, and programming that they created to mentor BIPOC LGBTQ youth and support their mental health.

And if you want to apply for the Fellowship before our next round begins in 2022—make sure to do so on our website

ICYMI: Governor Hochul signs LGBTQ-affirming bills

In the midst of Trans Awareness Week, Governor Kathy Hochul signed two LGBTQ-affirming bills into law—right here at The Center! They will help to ensure that businesses and municipalities respect customers’ gender identities, and also help to decriminalize and destigmatize survivors of human trafficking. We are grateful to the many advocates, community members, and lawmakers who worked so hard to pass these laws.

Thanks for all you do,

[link removed]

During the holidays, we think of the folks who make a difference in our lives—and giving the gift of membership

[link removed]

to a loved one or friend is a great way to sustain The Center’s advocacy work while also sharing your support of the LGBTQ community with someone who matters to you. Center Membership starts with a gift of $35 (or as little as $5/month). We’ll be sure to let them know this holiday gift is from you!
