Last week was an exciting week for Democrats across Georgia.

Voting rights champion, Stacey Abrams, announced she is officially running for governor and we saw some major wins in local Atlanta races.

The momentum we started building in 2020 is only picking up.

Pundits will tell you Democrats need to be scared for November as Republicans buckle down and pour millions into taking back Georgia.

However, my colleagues and I are not backing down. I am ready to fight side by side with fellow incumbents — like Senator Warnock, and challengers — like Stacey Abrams.

We are ready to win in November and stand up for real necessities for our communities — like affordable and accessible health care, fighting the climate crisis, and getting our economy back on track.
