Meet Juliet, a budding businesswomen from Uganda, friend

After learning vital money management and enterprise skills, Juliet and the Kigandelo Womens Association decided to set up their own business.

"Our income has increased so much, and this is down to one thing - value addition!" - Juliet

By roasting and grounding soya beans, they realised they could earn much more money than simply selling the beans as they are.

"Soya Kawa, a drink made from roasted ground soya beans, is the best value! We get 2,000 Ugandan Shillings for a small cup. Our Soya Kawa is so popular, we make it to order. Even schools order from us." - Juliet

With extra money in their pockets, families like Juliet's can do much more than just survive, they can really live.

You can support more women like Juliet to take charge of their own futures and set up their own successful businesses by supporting a start-up this Christmas. With the right training and skills, families across rural Africa can transform their lives for good.
Yes, I'd like to support a start-up today!
