A list of agenda items is below, but we are excited to announce that we will be joined by outgoing Mayor Steve Schewel! He will discuss some of the city government's accomplishments and take your questions — come prepared!

Leadership

This year, we are nominating one new member to the PA's Board of Directors: Sally Hodges-Copple. We are so excited to welcome Sally to the board, subject to membership approval. 

Sally was born and raised in Durham and is a proud product of Durham Public Schools. She is a graduate of Rice University (BA) and Duke University (MPP). She currently works as a Data Specialist with the Emily Krzyzewski Center. In her free time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. 

Membership approval is also required for the Executive Committee of the Board for the 2022 year.

Bylaw Amendments

A listing and description of the proposed updates is available here. The changes are meant primarily to clarify several processes on the Action Team level. Please reach out or come prepared with any questions or feedback!
