Hi John, I wanted to be sure that you saw this:

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court began hearing arguments on yet another restrictive abortion ban: this time, a law from Mississippi that bans abortion after 15 weeks.

What makes this case different is that this is the most consequential debate on abortion rights since Roe v. Wade that could alter the future of reproductive freedom.

Instead of leaving it up to the Supreme Court — which includes a pair of far-right justices rammed through by the Trump administration after Mitch McConnell helped steal a seat — my colleagues in the House and I took matters into our own hands by passing the Women’s Health Protection Act, which codifies Roe and the right to safe, legal abortions.

Now, the bill is in the Senate, and I need your help to build a groundswell of grassroots support demanding they follow the House’s lead and pass the bill immediately. Sign your name to demand the Senate protect abortion rights before it’s too late.
