Democrats miss job numbers, AGAIN! |

Elise: Democrats have failed the American people |
On Monday, Elise voted against the Democrats’ Continuing resolution to fund the government until February 18th of next year. On her vote, Elise said:
“Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats' failure has once again brought us to the brink of shutdown. Despite controlling the White House, House, and Senate, Democrats have failed to pass a single appropriations bill this entire year. They have failed the American people.
“From the beginning, Democrats have refused to work across the aisle and, instead, forced a purely partisan process. For months, they have wasted the American people’s time by forcing trillions of dollars of Far-Left spending and Socialist policies, but have failed to follow through on their number one job to govern." |
Elise urges Hochul to END burdensome policies restricting broadband |
On Monday, Elise penned a letter to New York’s new Governor Kathy Hochul urging her to end the New York State Department of Transportation policy which restricts the deployment of fiber optics in the North Country. Currently the state charges upwards of $5,000 a mile to survey land, which severely hurts broadband providers from expanding fiber optics in rural areas in Upstate New York. This action comes only a month after Elise sent a letter requesting the Federal Communications Commission investigate New York State’s broadband buildout fees.
In her letter to Hochul, Elise wrote, “Albany Democrats continue to drive up the cost of broadband buildout hurting rural communities, like the North Country, that need this access the most. By failing to end this policy, Governor Hochul is complicit in their actions. Residents of the North Country have been forced to miss out on critical internet access because of New York State’s burdensome practices. While the state continues in their incompetence, I am proud to continue pushing for results until every resident of the North Country can access affordable high-speed internet from their homes, schools, and businesses.”

Elise SLAMS Hochul for not removing Cuomo’s criminal Henchmen |
On Thursday, Elise penned a letter to Governor Hochul demanding the immediate removal of Jim Malatras who serves as Chancellor of the State University of New York. Malatras who helped Corrupt Cuomo by actively attempting to discret one of his sexual assault victims. Chancellor Malatras also played a significant role in falsifying data on New York’s COVID-19 nursing home deaths, still remains in his official position which completely contradicts Hochul’s promise to clean house after replacing Cuomo in August. In the letter, Elise wrote,
“Governor Hochul has failed to keep her promise to clean house of Cuomo’s corrupt criminal henchmen. And it is shameful that Jim Malatras is still receiving taxpayer-funded paychecks and serving as SUNY Chancellor, even though we know he worked to discredit Cuomo’s victims and played a key role in producing Cuomo’s corrupt nursing home death reports. He is unfit to lead the SUNY system. New Yorkers, and especially our students, deserve better.”
