This is intended to harm people and their right to make extremely personal decisions for themselves and their families.
Wednesday’s arguments before the Supreme Court around the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case was the biggest threat we’ve seen to Roe v. Wade to date.
We won’t know the final verdict on Dobbs for months, but we can see this case for what it really is: fear and division being weaponized to politicize the courts and harm our families and millions of women across this country.
This is an attempt to bring the government into the doctor’s examination room — a gross overstep of power — purely to embolden a far right political base. The health of our families and millions of women should not be in the hands of nine judges, and it is unacceptable for anyone to think they can make deeply personal health decisions for other people, especially politicians.
Infringements on our healthcare — particularly right now, in the middle of a pandemic that has taken so much from us — are wrong. We must keep organizing to make sure everyone has quality healthcare, including abortion coverage.
Reproductive healthcare must be protected. Women’s rights must be protected. The freedom to make personal medical decisions with your family and your doctor alone must be protected. But none of this is a reality without new leadership.
Thankfully, your support allows us to do just that. Together, we’re building our grassroots organizing strategy, reaching out to voters across Kentucky, and getting Rand Paul out of office so we can end the attacks on our rights like this.
Now more than ever, I’m ready to fight — and to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate so I can get to work for our Commonwealth. If you believe that Kentucky deserves a leader who will fight for us, please chip in whatever you can afford to our campaign today.

Look. Our work isn’t about Democrats, Republicans, or Independents — it's about humanity, family, and taking care of one another. We should all be able to pursue our dreams and make decisions over our own lives. Period.
Right now, the Supreme Court has the urgent responsibility to dismiss all challenges to limit or overturn Roe v. Wade, and affirm the humanity, agency, and constitutional rights of privacy, freedom, and quality healthcare for all. But longer term, we must fight to make sure all people can make choices over their health care and their lives.
I’m ready to be that leader for Kentucky, but I need your help. Please chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to our grassroots campaign.
Let’s organize,
Charles Booker
