Friend,
Next year, we have the opportunity to safeguard our elections -- and ensure that the people running our elections act with integrity, no matter their party.
In 2022, there are over 3,000 positions on the ballot for election administrators like County Clerk, County Recorder, and other local roles. These are often uncontested, open, or under-the-radar races that profoundly affect our democracy.
On Monday, December 6 at 8 PM EST, please join the incredible team at Run for Something for an informative, inspiring webinar about how you can help elect pro-democracy administrators at the local level and even run yourself!
At this webinar, you’ll hear from a panel of election clerks to discuss how they ran for office, what they have accomplished since being elected, and their advice for future election administrators.
You already know that during and after the 2020 election, Donald Trump claimed election fraud in an attempt to erode faith in our voting systems. And this year, Georgia was one of at least 18 states to pass laws to make voting harder.
Run for Something is fighting back by recruiting a new crop of innovative, pro-democracy election administrators to ensure that elections in their areas are accessible, fair, and equitable. This could include you -- or someone you know!
Like you, I’m frustrated with the inaction on voting rights at the federal level. That’s why I’m so glad to share this event with you so we can make meaningful change in towns, cities, and counties here in Georgia and across the country.
Thank you so much, and please continue to stay safe,
-- Sarah
