John – When I was recently on MSNBC's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, I talked about just how dangerous it was for my opponent, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) to rally with Donald Trump here in Iowa. If you're with me in this fight to defeat Sen. Grassley and the extremism of the Republican Party, can I ask you to chip in a grassroots donation of $5 before our midnight deadline?

I won't mince words: The former president's conspiracy theories, radicalism and anti-democratic sentiments are dangerous. They have no place in Iowa or anywhere in else in the country. But Sen. Grassley has chosen to stand in lockstep with Donald Trump. By standing on stage with him at a MAGA rally, Sen. Grassley totally endorsed Trump's rhetoric and agenda. I believe that makes Sen. Grassley unfit to serve.

Our state deserves a senator who will fight for working families instead of spreading dangerous conspiracy theories – and our country deserves a Senate that will do the same. If we win here in Iowa, we can guarantee both – and our path to victory in Iowa has never been clearer. 

You see, Iowans are done with Sen. Grassley – only 27% of likely voters want to reelect him, and he's at his highest disapproval rating with Iowans in nearly two decades. Momentum is on our side, and I can promise you that no one is going to work harder than me to flip this seat blue. But it’s clear that Donald Trump will do everything he can to take back the Senate majority and make sure Sen. Grassley is reelected. I fully intend to win, but I need you to stand with me.

John, teams like this one have met the moment before, and we need to do it again when we're called upon. I'm committed to ending Donald Trump and Sen.
