Dear John,

I want to share some updates with you from Congress and across the country. Here are three things to know today:

Recently, a Republican challenger announced their candidacy for Georgia’s 2nd District, and the NRCC released an attack focused on me. This was not unexpected. As Election Day gets closer, Republicans will continue to up their attacks directed towards me. Paired with new district maps aimed to make this District more winnable for them, your continued support will be vital as we enter the New Year.

As I have mentioned, the fight around redistricting is front and center here in Georgia. State legislators are manipulating the redistricting process to minimize Democratic voters’ voices across Georgia, and recent proposed maps have shown I will be one of the representatives hurt the worst. This makes the work we do over the next year all the more important as we fight to hold the house.

We’re almost at the end of the year, and it is vital we hit our fundraising goals before the home stretch. Between new challengers, increased NRCC spending, and the challenges created by redistricting, my campaign is going to need all the support we can get. We must hold the house in 2022, and I am counting on your support to do just that. Please, help us hit our end of year goal by making a donation today. [[link removed]]
