In case you missed it -- and that was clearly the Democrats' intention -- the Massachusetts House of Representatives took advantage yet again of an informal session, this time to ram through more than $4 billion worth of earmarks via federal emergency COVID-19 relief funds.
The mammoth spending package surfaced Wednesday night, and by Thursday morning, amid an empty House chamber and without a single voice vote, the federal cash bonanza was approved.
Meanwhile, the Massachusetts State House remains closed for the public and has been for more than 620 days.
