I’m writing to you with some local news that means a lot to this campaign and me personally. We were just endorsed by two important labor unions—the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 369 and UAW in Kentucky (United Auto Workers).

I’ve always said that workers are empowered by unions which, in turn, strengthens our economy.

When in Congress, the members of IBEW Local 369 and UAW in KY—and every union across our district—can count on me to be a staunch advocate for union protections and workers’ rights.

Before I go any further, I want to say that I’m honored to receive these endorsements. Can I count on you to add your name and endorse my campaign, too?

I want to be clear with what’s at stake in this election for unions in KY-03 and across the country. If we take this election for granted, we risk losing our majorities to Republicans who have always put greed over protecting working-class families.

I’m ready to get to work on Day One to ensure that our workforce has a government that supports unions.
