John,
This November, we saw exciting electoral victories by WFP candidates, and we also experienced a few painful losses. But with so much punditry and theorizing from every side, it can be hard to cut through the noise and understand exactly what we’ve accomplished, and where we can improve our efforts for next year’s midterms.
That’s why at tomorrow's WFP Assembly, we’ll break down what we learned from the 2021 election cycle and how we’re planning to build progressive power across the country in the new year.
The WFP Assembly is our monthly virtual gathering where we recommit ourselves to each other and the movement. At our last Assembly of the year, we’ll be joined by WFP Champions including NYC City Councilor Tiffany Cabán, candidate for Texas’ 35th congressional district Greg Casar, and the newly elected Mayor of South Fulton, Georgia, khalid kamau.
Can you make it to the WFP Assembly tomorrow, Sunday, December 5 at 8:00 PM/5:00 PM PT? RSVP now, and we’ll send you the link to join.

Every single day, WFP members and organizers are reaching new members of our communities who are tired of the status quo, of leaders who put corporate profits and donors above the needs of working people. Because of this growing movement you’ve helped us build, we helped propel Working Families Party champions to dozens of electoral victories across the country last month.
But there’s no time to waste.
With critical legislation regarding reproductive rights, climate action, wealth inequality, and racial justice up for debate in Congress and in state legislatures around the country, we need more Working Families champions holding office at every level of government.
So far, the Working Families Party has endorsed candidates in next year’s races for the U.S. Senate, the House of Representatives, District Attorney seats, city councils, and more, and we’re preparing to throw down hard to make sure our candidates win.
We wouldn’t be the force for progressive change we are today without the help from supporters like you, who’ve given your time and your resources to grow our party. But we’re still growing, and we’re still building.
Next week, we’re launching the 2021 WFP Party Building Drive, a chance for Working Families Party supporters at every level to strengthen our progressive movement.
Will you join us to learn more about the 2021 Party Building Drive and our organizing plans for 2022 at the WFP December Assembly? RSVP now to let us know if we’ll see you tomorrow, December 5 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT.

We’re truly grateful for everything you do to help us fight for the many, not the few. Together, we will continue to build and fight in 2022.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
