This is it: Sign up for a canvassing shift in Virginia.

Hey John,

If you’ve been telling yourself that you’ll knock doors next weekend, then this is the weekend. This is your last chance to help flip Virginia.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th, and we need to turn out every Democratic voter we can.

That’s it, that’s how we win. Not because of dollars spent, not because of a miracle, not because other people stepped up. Democrats will only win if we all work together to turn out voters this weekend.

And the best way you can help is by knocking doors, having conversations with voters, and helping them make a plan to vote. We’re focused on the most competitive races, so every door you knock will make a huge difference in the closest races. There’s a canvass near Washington this weekend, so sign up for a shift and do your part to help flip Virginia.

Our teams can’t talk to all these voters by themselves (they’re really good, but not that good!). If you’re reading this email, please commit to just ONE shift this weekend.

That’s about four hours of your time. Four hours of walking around in nice fall weather and talking to Democratic voters. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?

When you show up to canvass, a campaign staffer will train you on how to have the most effective conversations. And this close to Election Day, you probably won’t need to convince anyone to vote, you just need to help them make a plan (which is proven to increase their likelihood of actually voting). These conversations aren’t hard, and they’re really important—this is a tried and true organizing tactic and how elections are won.

Every person you talk to could be another vote for Democrats. And these races are so close that every one of those votes really could make the difference. We lost at least three races by fewer than 100 votes last time in 2017!

So block off just four hours of time, find your closest shift (there’s one within 35 miles of you!), and go knock doors. RSVP for a shift right now.
