Welcome to The Agenda (yeah - THAT agenda), your weekly update on what's happening in the LGBTQ political world. Whatever you do, don’t forward it to Mike Pence. He doesn't need to know what we're planning! Forward it to a friend instead.

Overview: Election Day is less than a week away. Here's what's going on in the biggest LGBTQ races.
VIRGINIA
A huge congratulations to Victory Fund endorsed candidate Karl Frisch: he’s earned an endorsement from The Washington Post!
Election Day in Virginia is next Tuesday. If you’re in the area, we suggest volunteering for one of our amazing LGBTQ candidates (learn more about them here)! Here’s a quick guide to volunteering on the phones or in person this weekend.
Spotlight candidate Danica Roem has seen a slew of bigoted attacks over the last week. But when you’ve got a record as good as Danica’s, attacks tend to get nasty.
Victory Fund has condemned the latest attack ad and called for an apology. Meanwhile, Danica’s focused on flipping the script and turning those attacks into cold, hard campaign cash.

TEXAS
The special election for House District 28 is full steam ahead and according to Houston Public Media, it’s a bellwether for the rest of the state.
There are seven candidates running. Only one can win. It’s going to be Spotlight candidate Eliz Markowitz.
Anti-Eliz forces in the state seem to fear her campaign, issuing flyers accusing Eliz of being – shock of all shocks – socialist.
How’s Eliz handling the pressure? The same way she’s handling the rest of her campaign: by mobilizing her voters.

INDIANA
Keith Potts – one of our great candidates for Indianapolis City Council – took over our social media yesterday for a very spooky day. Happy Halloween!
Looking for a quick overview of Keith’s campaign so far? Check out his commercial here.
Keith also posted some great throwback Thursday posts: Indy’s Pride Parade and one very special campaign guest!
All fun aside, campaigning is hard work! From taking care of future constituents to working late into the night, LGBTQ candidates don’t rest until Election Day.
Thanks again for sharing your day with us, Keith!

BOSTON
Bostonians are also headed to the polls next Tuesday. In the At-Large race, there are four open seats, three incumbents, and one Victory Fund candidate. But Alejandra St. Guillen has a plan to win.
Both Alejandra and Victory Fund’s candidate for District 9, Liz Breadon, sat down with WGBH News to answer questions and detail their stances on the issues facing Boston. Read more on Alejandra here, and check out Liz’s answers here.
Both Alejandra and Liz will be the first openly LGBTQ women on the Boston City Council!
And Boston’s suburbs are set to make LGBTQ history: Holly Ryan is running unopposed and on the verge of becoming one of the first openly trans officials in Massachusetts.

MOMENT OF ZEN
Undeterred by a series of attacks from her opponent, Ali Brown has launched a new commercial!
After months of hard work and campaigning in Iowa, Mayor Pete is on the verge of taking second place in the Caucus.
Policy is personal: Game Changer candidate Mondaire Jones details what drove his decision to run for U.S. Congress.
We’ll leave you on a fun note: this wonderful video from Chauntyll Allen and her team. Don’t forget to vote!!

COMING UP NEXT
Big news, social media fans! One of our elected officials will be taking over our social media to give us an inside look into their race and life on the campaign trail. NEXT UP: PENNSYLVANIA CANDIDATE BRIAN SIMS!
